Terms of Use Agreement

By accessing or using Lex Opus’s website (the "Website"), you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Terms of Use Agreement (the "Agreement") and agree to be bound by it. You must accept the terms of the Agreement in order to use the Website. If you do not understand or have questions about the Agreement, immediately stop all use of the website and contact Lex Opus. The Agreement may periodically change without notice. You agree that each time you use the website, you have agreed to the terms in effect at the time of your use.

You are not authorized to rely on the Website as a source of legal advice and your use of the website does not create or constitute an attorney-client relationship between you and Lex Opus or any of its individual attorneys.

If you wish to become a client of Lex Opus, you must contact an attorney at Lex Opus and expressly negotiate a retention of the firm or any lawyer. Unless an attorney-client relationship has been established with Lex Opus, we are not obliged to keep confidential information you may wish to send, and under no circumstance should you send confidential information to us unless you have been authorized to do so by one of our attorneys.

You agree that you will not use the Website for any illegal purpose. In addition, you agree that:

1. You will not collect or otherwise use contact information made available on the website for the purpose of sending unsolicited communications, including without limitation, spam and resale of contact information.

2. You will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website or any related servers or any Lex Opus servers whatsoever, including any attempt to circumvent any security or access control technology implemented for same.

3. You will not attempt to degrade the performance or functioning of the Website, including, without limitation launching of Denial-of-Service (DoS) attacks.

Lex Opus has a copyright in all of its works on this Website and you are granted a limited right to view, copy, download and print materials solely for personal, noncommercial and informational purposes. All reproduction, copying and/or redistribution for commercial purposes is prohibited without Lex Opus’s express written consent.

The laws of the State of California shall apply without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. To the extent applicable, the laws of the United States of America apply for matters within its exclusive jurisdiction, and in such instances venue shall be in Central District of California.
If any provision of this Agreement is determined to be legally void or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed and all other provisions shall remain in force.

To the extent portions of this Website may be construed to contain attorney advertising, under respective state Code of Professional Responsibility (e.g., California), prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome in the future matters. Results depend upon a variety of factors unique to each matter and are specific to such representation. If any results have been portrayed, such results are dependent on the facts of the particular matter and the results in other matters will differ if based on different facts.
